Liam Payne, former One Direction member was tragically found dead outside a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday night.
Police are investigating the circumstances with an autopsy to follow. Reports suggest that Payne fell from a third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel in Palermo. The 31-year-old star, who had recently mentioned his plans to visit Argentina leaves behind his parents, two sisters and his seven-year-old son, Bear.
Reactions on Liam’s Sudden Death
Fans and friends are mourning his sudden passing. Earlier this month, Payne reportedly shared a Snapchat post saying that he was traveling to Argentina in part to see his former bandmate Niall Horan play in the country. US music channel MTV including other streaming services Spotify and the BRITs British music awards all are sending their condolences to his family and loved ones.

It was not immediately clear if the fall was accidental or whether Payne, who has spoken publicly of struggles with alcohol abuse, may have been intoxicated. So, it's unclear if the fall was accidental or related to his past struggles with alcohol.
